The Odd Ones (50 min)

Premiere 3rd May 2024, Theater Rotterdam, Circusstad Festival.

The Odd Ones is a show about the differences of people. A social and physical dance about finding your place in a group, being authentically you and about the adaptations we all have to manage when being with others. Directed by Simon Granit Ossoinak, co-created with Stasy Terehhova (contemporary dance) and Cristian Boscheri (breakdance).

Odd One Out is a solo show centered around the theme of oddness, and how oddness relates to belonging. The show mixes acrobatics, dance, physical theater and spoken text.

Pulse of the Past (30 min)

Premiered 23-24 March 2023 at Cafe Theater Festival.

Pulse of the Past is a duet with percussions, acrobatics and dance, exploring togetherness, community and tradition in an interactive performance. Co-created and performed with Branko Valchev

Androgynous (6 min)

Premiered 29 July 2023 at Salo Circus Festival

Androgynous is an act that explores a fluctuating push and pull between masculinity and femininity. Vulnerability, sexuality and intensity intermingle in this personal piece with a performer seeking ultimate freedom of expression.

Will to Power - One Night’s Dance (12 min)

Premiered 18th of December 2022 through Dansateliers, Lloyds Company & Merel Heering

One Night’s Dance is an annual talent development trajectory for young makers. Over seven weeks, five young makers get the chance to develop a fresh new solo. Simons solo is called Will to power and is based off of one of Nietzsches fundamental ideas. Every living being strives towards expressing their power, in one form or another.

Gravity expanders (15 min)

Premiered 28th of April through Kunsthal Rotterdam. Co-created and performed with Arvi Yrjölä

Gravity expanders was a specifically created duet for the interactive piece Giant Billiard by House-Rucker-Co for the opening of the exhibition Mind Expanders at Kunsthal Rotterdam.

To be Not me (15 min)

Premiered 18 June 2021. Co-created and performed with Ghia Lumia

To be Not me is a 15 minute duet centered around social connection combining acrobatics, contemporary dance, partnering and partner threading. The performers go through the all too familiar dance of getting to know a new person and all that it implies. Excitement, awkwardness, joy and conflict.

To be Not me was supported by TelepART Mobility Fund and Pargas Municipality

As a creator, I have three main focus points:

Making genuine and personal performance art.

Creating unique movement and theatrical propositions.

Addressing topics that will always appear in human society, no matter your viewpoint or timeframe.
