Odd One Out is a 33 minute solo show about oddness, and how oddness relates to finding belonging. Through a mixture of acrobatics, dance, physical theatre and spoken text Simon draws us into the journey of an introspective and eccentric thinker. He has grown tired of his constant struggles with feeling odd, with not finding his place in the world, and has decided to be alone, indefinitely. In his loneliness he starts reflecting.

• Why is it so incredibly scary and uncomfortable to feel odd?

The questioning and exploration moves between the physical and the theoretical, twisting and contorting the perspectives we have on oddness. The beautiful, the ugly, the funny, the scary and the wonderful.

At moments you may find him insightful and clever, but at moments he is like a child; naive, playful and with a strong wish to be seen and understood. Through the characters emotional journey, that is funny, honest and confronting at the same time, we see - in spite of his oddities - how he is just as human as anyone else.
